Kubuitsile to speak at London literary festival

Mahalapye-based writer, Lauri Kubuitsile, continues to make tremendous strides in her writing career. Kubuitsile will leave for London on Valentine's Day (February 14) to speak at the third annual London School of Economics (LSE) Space for Thought Literary Festival.

The organisers of the festival, which aims to cross-disciplinary, international and metaphorical borders, invited Kubuitsile to speak about her writing and publishing experiences in Botswana and South Africa in a talk titled, Writing Across Borders - A Botswana experience.

The writer, who has 13 published books, said in an interview with The Monitor that she hopes the audience will leave her talk knowing more about what writers in Botswana encounter.
