I will do anything for my dream! - PK Maada

He started battling in the smutty boulevards of Francistown's Green Park at an early age with a name that defined his double crossing tendencies when eyeing the throne, let alone his belligerent and yet humour-filled rap style that smothers snares on beats.

Phakiso Makhiwa a.k.a. PK Maada, as eminently acknowledged in the music circles, said he has dreams so big he will do anything to achieve them. The self-acclaimed motswako Foromane rap star, who has at least five hit songs perched on the local radio charts sat for a tte-ˆ-tte with Showbiz.  A vexed look in his face, as he gave in detail, how his listening session became a flop due to Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) scheduled power cuts. He said the power cuts have since bruised the devotion he had to his fans.

"The BPC power cut sparked a war between me and my fans when the listening session they had paid to attend failed. Now I am working hard to restore it," he noted. "I work around the clock, and I want to be very influential. I am like businesses that never close and I am at a point where I do not even have a girlfriend because I have no time (for a relationship). I am at the core of branding myself.  For achieving my dreams I honestly will do just about anything to achieve them," he said.  He described his religious zeal for musical success and revealing that he would  go any lengths to see his dreams materialise.
