Huge crowd at the parlotones rock show

Although the show started at 8:00 pm,the audience had already gathered at GICC to come in droves to witness the South African rock band perform for the first time in Botswana. The band which had no supporting act performed for around two hours non stop and maintained their energy until the last song. Upon taking the stage, The Parlotones got an energetic welcome from the audience who cheered on and clapped hands for the band. Dressed in their trademark black and red colours the band opened the set with "Save Your Best Bits" followed by "I'LL Be There" after which the lead singer of the band Kahn Mobee called on the audience which had been sitting to stand up and get closer to the stage.
As the show heated up , Mobee told the audience of how some years back before they became popular they had performed in Gaborone to an audience of around 26 people in a murky parking lot. He further said that he was happy that they came back to perform in Gaborone to a larger audience as a bigger and better band. The band went on to perform some of their songs such as Suitcase,Stars Fall Down and they also performed I Got A Feeling by Black Peas with a bit of rock to it. However, as the show went on the audience could not hide that they wanted the band to play Push Me To the Floor. However, they did not perform the song immediately but only after they performed Brave and Wild through which Kahn sang some lyrics with a speaker , which indeed showed the wildness and bravery.
