Eugene Jackson spreads wings in SA

He became an instant hit on the music scene as the R&B king upon the release of his first album entitled Life In Music, which contained smashing hits like Ke wago featuring Hellen, Phantsha, Tobetsa and Mamela.

Coming from a musical family was the cherry on top for the young lad, as Eugene was introduced to music at a very tender age. His father was a founder member of Kgwanyape band along with the late Duncan Senyatso. Jackson senior, Clement, plays the guitar and saxophone. He has even done some songs in his son's new album. Eugene's mother is also a vocally gifted church choir member.  Having a successful album under his sleeve, Eugene is loved by both the young and old and now love is starting to spread in South Africa.

Speaking to Showbiz, the RnB singer confirmed that he has now relocated to SA to broaden his music knowledge by pursuing a coarse in piano, keys and music business at Central Johannesburg College. Eugene, who has also become quite popular in SA, says he has not started performing at various shows yet but already the feedback he is getting is positive.  "People seem to love my music, my lecturers love my sound and mostly style, added to all that the response I am getting is overwhelming as it shows that I am really appreciated.  Many cannot wait to see me live on stage doing what am good at," he said.The young talented muso is scheduled to do his first performance at Mpumalanga this Easter. He has more gigs lined up in Durban, Melville, Baseline, Swaziland and other prestigious places where he will be sharing the stage with other well-known SA artists.
