Popular Botswana Television music programme is on hold since the station is revamping the studio where the programme is hosted.

Mokaragana was aired every Saturday evening but since the beginning of the year the programme has not been screened.  Mokaragana is an entertainment programme that is aimed at promoting local music;  only local artists feature on the programme.  Since its inception, a number of established artists and upcoming acts have appeared on this show.

Mokaragana is one of the longest running shows on Btv.  One of the former and most remarkable presenters of the programme was Miso "Mega V" Mmereki who turned Mokaragana into a popular household show.  Even if the performances were dull,  Mega V would find a way to add some excitement to the show.  She was always in her element when presenting the show. Mega V left Mokaragana to work for one of the local radio stations.
