The man did not want his son to attend the performing arts school but instead go for military training.Whenever the child tried to persuade his father to let him follow his heart to use his talent and become an artist he would be terribly beaten up.

Lucky for the boy they had a neighbour who really cared for the boy and sought help from relevant people. This neighbour was a woman who was also a traditional healer known as mosankoma. The boys father hated her and whenever she tried to convince him to let his son choose a career that he has passion for, monna wa next door would chase her away accusing her of bewitching his family. After a testimony from some arts school students who had been able to take care of their families through their  career, the man let his son follow his heart knowing that his son's future was secured. He then became friends with his neighbour who confessed that she was pursuing her dream and talent, as she knew how to talk to her ancestors in order to see how she could heal her patients. This play easily stole the audience's attention gaining Bona Koo theatre new fans that seemed to like the traditional healer more especially when she was talking to the ancestors.
