BOMU braces for November 30 music awards

The Botswana Musicians' Union (BOMU) executive committee on Thursday held a meeting with the Gaborone region to map the way forward for the BOMU Music Awards pencilled for November 30.

Unlike past BOMU meetings, which were highly charged, this time around the discussions were held in a cordial atmosphere. 

The BOMU executive will be conducting the consultative meetings with all the regions across the country ahead of the annual awards.   This weekend they will be holding similar meetings in Mahalapye and Francistown.  Local artists in those regions will be hosting music festivals over the weekend to raise funds for the awards.
