Bakwena reveals plans for Thapong in 2011

The coordinator of Thapong Visual Arts Centre, Reginald Bakwena has said that this year, he will continue to fight for the visibility of the visual arts in the country.

Speaking to Showbiz in an interview, Bakwena said that Batswana are beginning to appreciate art and that the onus is upon artists themselves to offer the best service possible to their customers.

"I want to urge all Thapong artists to work hard to satisfy their clients by offering quality products at all times," he said adding that artists must also have good customer service in order to attract clients.  He further said that artists must try by all means to establish themselves in a professional way and that they must be prepared to get feedback from their clients so that they improve their craft when and where necessary.
