Tlokwe's Words on the ways of the World

There are many odd situations in our world that we do not try to change because we feel powerless. We rather take them as they are and say, "That's the way of the world."

This is the observation made by Goodwill Tlokwe, the multi-talented writer and teacher.
Tlokwe has recently published a poetry book, Words On The Ways Of The World.
The 40-paged book, which is published by Pentagon Publishers under their Bessie Head series, has 40 poems.

The book explores various aspects of our everyday life like romance, nature, history, politics, war, and social problems like crime. Under the romance category, Tlokwe, who teaches Development Studies (DVS) and Guidance and Counselling at Swaneng Hill School in Serowe, wrote an interesting poem called To Love a Pretty Fool, which tells of a man who falls hopelessly in love with a gold-digger and it goes:
