Stars Shine At Ga-Maila Music Festival

The Saturday event, which kicked off at 10 am, featured among others By 2, Don B, Wizards of the Desert, and Mingo.

The organisers had offered children that rare opportunity to see their stars in action at a price of P10 per head while elders had to fork out P30 to get in. But the chill seems to have kept most of the young ones at home, as only a few were present. From Skhokho to Hae, the youngsters just loved Mapetla's pieces. His cheeky dance moves just drove them crazy and along side him on stage were his "dogs" Skazo and P Mag, to provide the backing vocals  - and the audience just loved the connection. Time for Skazo and still the same three faces, but the crowd did not appear to be bored but rather got more excited. A base track that helped Skazo curve a niche in the tough kwaito world was just irresistible to his followers.
