He is relatively an unknown quantity in the music industry, but Dixon 5 is undoubtedly a talented musician.

The musician, whose real name is Dineo Dikole, released an album called Straten last year and had it been properly marketed, it could have gone places. But so far only 200 copies have been sold.

A few weeks after its release, the CD received much airplay on national radio stations, RB1 and RB2. With more and more artistes going into the kwaito kwasa type of music, this Kanye-born musician has remained with the original tunes of Sgubu, the type of kwaito invented by the South Africans and dominated by Zulu and Xhosa lyrics.
