Rokas Storm Back With Latest Album

After a year of inactivity, House Kwasa outfit Rokas are back with a new release called Re mo tshwere Satane, which was programmed to hit the shelves last Friday.

Their first project left a lasting impression on the minds of most fans though they still could not match the likes of Eskimos.

Perhaps, this had much to do with the fact that their brand of House Kwasa sounded more like township disco. But the fans still loved it and they (Rokas) sold well. However, those who fell in love with the group at the first attempt had hoped for an immediate follow-up but they had to wait longer, as the girls took a break after their debut in 2005.
The group, owned and produced by Kwasa kwasa king Franco, like many locals who hit instant success, failed to stay together until the second project. This contributed to the year-long break, according to Franco.
