Kwaito star Mingo Touch, popular for his hit, Tsotsi, is bearing multiple stab wounds on his face and back after he was attacked by gangsters near Zola (Old Naledi) in an incident that also left his rising star rapper, killed.

With bandaged hand, stitched eye, and open knife wound in the back, Mingo walked into Mmegi offices yesterday to narrate his brush with death on Saturday night at a filling station near Old Naledi.

Mingo, real name, Aminoni Tiro Mojokeri, says he was in a car with about seven friends when the mob hit one of his friends in the car with a beer bottle. When the car, which was just driving away from the filling station, stopped the mob started stabbing the late rapper, who last year released a debut rap album, and was preparing to release another single this week.
