Revamped Barney's Bar stirs to life

If you used to socialise in Maun during the 80s and 90s you would probably be aware of Barney's Bar which was located at Boseja.

It was a place to be if you wanted to catch up on current affairs. It was mostly frequented by mature patrons. It was the joint where the enlightened town folk preferred to have their drinks.

It was a kind of a pub where there was no juke box. There used to be a small radio, which was mainly for news. You could not find a noisy bunch at Barney's or loud music blaring from car speakers.
