North-east artworks exhibited

FRANCISTOWN: The Arts Association of Francistown exhibited the artworks of various artists at Galo Centre Mall over the weekend.

Artworks on display included sculptures, drawings and paintings. Later on the day, patrons were treated to poems by Lucky Nkhurutshi of Ngwao Putswa, the poetry association in Francistown.

The chairman of the Arts Association, Baldwin Nyamande, (31) said the aim of the exhibition was to showcase the arts talent in the northern part of the country and then event included artists from as far as Tutume, Masunga and Tshesebe.
