Matsieng Bounces Back

Eric Ramco Records super traditional group Matsieng is bouncing back in style with an amazing new album, Setswana Sa Bo Rre. The 12-track album has been in the pipeline for the last five months at his 207 Studio in Phakalane. The stable is so determined to get back to the top after losing Machesa last year.

Matsieng burst onto the music scene last year with their hit album, Semakaleng. The group was dubbed as the next Machesa. DT, Roy and Maeras proved that they are a force to reckon with hits like Semakaleng, Thulamela, Segametsi and Ke Bone Mosadi to mention just a few. Their explicit lyrics and DT's big voice made everyone to pay attention. They went on to book themselves a place in the inaugural Mokaragana competition where they were knocked out in the semi-finals. At the end of last year, they were chosen with Wizards of The Desert to tour Singapore with President Festus Mogae.
