MAD Junior Finalists Chosen

Scores of revellers thronged Gaborone's Maitisong Hall last Saturday to witness the selection of five finalists in the MAD Junior category.

The show, which was arguably the weakest of the category finals, opened with the dancing trio of Srikaveri, Shrindhin and Muskan whose dancing sent the crowd into a frenzy.

Upcoming poet Goitsemang Fanabi of Maun followed with an AIDS poem. Fanabi, who was dressed in some black Nigerian attire, recited a poem on the negative impact the scourge is having on the Botswana society.
