Machesa's second coming

They were great under Eric Ramco Records, making history as the first group from our shores to win an African Kora Award.

But local traditional music group Machesa, went from hero to zero following their separation from renowned producer, Eric Ramogobya.

Now that they are back, Machesa are hopeful that their return to the "Royal kraal" will bring them even better things. Perhaps a Grammy award? It's lead singer modestly admitted that they regret ever parting ways with the man who is credited with their African success in 2003.
