Kwaito maestro tries his hand at House music

Kenny Makhenzo is famous for producing Mapetal's Phan'z Phezulu album, as well as Skazo and one of Vee's albums.

This week however the X3 Mix studio man is releasing a house album, Cotton Candy, featuring a host of less famous but talented local singers. He is also featuring South Africa's T-Boss and Stugga in his 13 track album the youthful producer hopes it would create waves in the local music industry and beyond.

Recently he returned from a marketing trip in Namibia where he says the reception was awe-inspiring. " It was amazing how they received me. I went there with DJ Bax, but all radio stations received us so well, I was booked for so   many interviews, I could not even do all of them," Makhenzo told Showbiz.
