German artists conduct workshops at Supa Ngwao

Former Francistown resident Gerlinde Pahlen has been conducting the weaving workshop on voluntary basis.

She also brought along veteran Batix artists and friend Elisabeth Kaufmann to teach local artists how to make patterns on clothing materials using paint and hot wax.

Kaufmann is accompanied by her two sisters, Hildegard and Maide. Museum chiefs disclosed that the artists not only volunteered to conduct the courses but also paid for their fares.
