'Forgotten' Folk Singer Steals The Show

The forgotten Molepolole folk singer Stampore stole the show at Satchmo's Jazz Cafe on Friday night.

Stampore was invited to the show by Norwegian-based guitarist Banjo Mosele, who also performed at the same venue.

The patrons had missed the two musicians for a long time. Mosele is based in Norway but Stampore has been forgotten. It only took somebody who is living in Norway to remember that there was "starving" local musician, who needed exposure. Stampore lived up to his reputation as he did not disappoint the crowd.
