Blue eyes that get tangled

In the coastal town of San Sebastian in Spain two people meet momentarily on a bridge, one contemplating suicide, urging himself to jump, the other more determined, crashes through the rail of the bridge on her motorcycle, but instead of plunging into the sea and on rocks has landed on sand. "Jay" or Jota (the extraordinarily long faced Nancho Novo) is a failed rock star, a singer in the group "Las Moscas" or "The Flies" who cannot face life any longer, but hasn't got the strength to end it.
