Big names for Mma Ramotswe movie

The film, whose shooting start next Monday through September sees Jill Scott, popular for her award winning R&B hits, starring as the lead actress, Precious Ramotswe, while Lucian Msamati, will star as her husband, JLB Matekoni.

They will be joined by Nigerian born British actor, David Oyelowo (the star of the movie. A Raisin in the Sun) and Wintson Ntshona, who starred in Blood Diamond, Idris Elba (American gangster).  Dreamgirls' actress, Anika Noni Rose, will play Mma Ramotswe's secretary. Another main actor in the movie to be directed by award winning British actor Anthony Mingella, is John Kani.
