Former Township Rollers’ and Mochudi Centre Chiefs’ coach, Rahman Gumbo, has been hired by Gaborone United (GU). The Zimbabwean tactician will be unveiled later this week with indications that the suspended David Bright will be shown the door tonight.

Gumbo is an experienced hand who once coached the Zimbabwe national team. He sealed the move to GU this week while the club’s disciplinary committee met Bright at their White City office on Monday evening.

The hearing was adjourned to today at 5:30 pm when Bright is expected to be given the boot. He has been accused of insubordination and negligence after allegations that he allocated rooms to players and technical officials when the club went to play SuperSport United in the CAF Confederations Cup in South Africa but left out management.
