Easter holidays register drop in incidents

The Easter holidays were reportedly much calmer than the previous ones, as the police recorded decreased incidents including those of the number of road fatalities.

According to the police a total of 211 road accidents were recorded as compared to 350 recorded the previous year portraying a decrease of 39.7%. 

“A total of six people died in five fatal road accidents from April 18 to 23 compared to 17 who died in 11 fatal road accidents the same period last year,” stated the police.
