The Little Miss Model Botswana director, who is now coordinating this new young people’s pageantry told Showtime that Little Prince and Princess aims to support national talent and address problems relating to cultural diversification and international relations in Africa.

She said the pageantry would achieve this through gathering African countries to exchange ideas as well as build ramp models and humanitarian brand ambassadors.  “The pageant is open to both boys and girls aged four to seven years for the tiny category, mini category from eight to 13 years and teens (category) aged between 14 to 17 years of age.

All winners from each category will get an opportunity to represent Botswana at the African final competitions where they will be competing with other winners from the whole of

Africa on November 22 to 26 this year,” she said.

The grand finale of the local pageantry where the boys and girls would be battling it out for the crown would be held on August 11, 2018.

The venue will be communicated in due course, while registrations are done at Electron House Building behind Mr Price along the Old Lobatse Road.
