Suspected Tlokweng serial rapists' DNA tests positive

The DNA results of suspected serial rapists, Progressive Ndlovu 31 and Thabelo Nfakazi Ndlovu 30, who allegedly raped two sisters in front of their mother in Tlokweng tested positive, Extension II Magistrate's Court heard today.

This means that the two men are placed at the scene of the crime and likely committed the offences.  The prosecutor, Tlotlang Balathwa told the court that the prosecution had intended to substitute the charge sheet with a new one following the arrival of the duo’s DNA results. 

“I plead with the court to set another mention date in which I will move the application before the accused persons substantive magistrate,” Balathwa said.
