Police record 20 fatal accidents over the weekend

The Police have recorded one of the highest numbers of road fatalities countrywide in just one weekend.

From January 26 to 28, 2018 at least 20 people died in 10 different fatal road accidents nationally.

Police spokesperson senior superintendent Near Bagali said of one of the accidents, six people died when a combi carrying 14 passengers overturned along Bobonong and Semolale road on Sunday. “Three passengers sustained serious injuries while four escaped with minor injuries,” Bagali said.
