Boy Kills Teen Lover, Commits Suicide

The incident is said to have taken place last week Saturday in Kopong. It is said that the boy’s parents found him hanging from the rafters of his house at their home while his girlfriend’s lifeless body was soaked in blood on the floor in the wee hours of September 2, 2017.

According to information passed to The Monitor the two allegedly had a misunderstanding and were seen arguing at one of the bars in the village before leaving together when the bar closed. It is said that the boy, who is a Form 5 leaver, used a sharp object to slit the girl’s throat before committing suicide.
