BALA Charts New Strategic Plan

MAUN: Botswana Association of Local Authorities (BALA) is formulating a new seven-year strategic and business plan to promote development of local economies to address unemployment, poverty vis-a-vis income and economic opportunities.

The formulation exercise started in May and is expected to end in November.

BALA president, Reverend Mpho Moruakgomo told a conference in Maun that the new strategy is underpinned by national, regional and international agendas and agreements.
