Pilane faction misses letter deadline

Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) faction led by Sydney Pilane has missed the deadline date to respond to the letter of demand issued by rival Ndaba Gaolathe group, sources claim.

This followed a letter of demands served on Pilane faction on July 27, 2017 demanding a response by end of business on July 31, 2017. However, sources claim that the Pilane side has not responded to the letter. 

The two factions have been at war with each other after holding parallel congresses in Bobonong on July 15, 2017, which produced two teams of leaders, each of which claim legitimacy.
