FRANCISTOWN: All roads lead to Tonota tomorrow where the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) will host its 37th crucial elective congress. About 1,000 delegates are expected to vote in the party’s new leadership that will take the BDP to the crucial 2019 general elections.

Voting for the party leadership is expected to take the formation of the party’s current factions of Vice President Mokgweetsi Masisi and Cabinet Minister Nonofo Molefhi.

The party’s Francistown region chairperson, Baemedi Medupe is elated that all is set for the party to congregate at the Tonota College of Education (TCE) grounds where a large marquee is being erected to host the event's official opening. Medupe and his team have made all pertinent arrangements including requesting the local health clinics and the business community to take advantage of the windfall from the BDP congress.
