The men’s kata team that won a gold medal at the Union Federation of African Karate (UFAK) Championships has been excluded from the AUSC Region V karate championships, which kicks off in Maputo, Mozambique today.

National team coach, Sensei Otto Tafa had expected to take the team to Maputo, but has been left disappointed.

He told Mmegi Sport before departure for Maputo that he had expected the team to continue its good run.
