With Tlatsa Lebala being a success this past weekend a number of critics have gone to question the exact number of revellers and the amount of money that was generated from tickets and gate takings.

With Kast stating that the event had over 20,000 were people in attendance, Tlatsa Lebala project manger Massie Hule has come out to give statistics.

“Looking at our ticket sales we were almost sold out, I think we were 500 tickets away from being sold out. Despite announcing that people won’t be paying at the gates, most of them paid by the gate.
