Township Rollers midfielder, Gape ‘Abidal’ Mohutsiwa was relieved after completing 90 minutes against CNaPS of Madagascar a fortnight ago. The player has hardly featured this season, with his last action in the league coming against Black Forest in October.

His happy coach, Mogomotsi ‘Teenage’ Mpote gave him game time in the first leg of the CAF Champions League encounter.

“I had a very good game, despite the fact that I haven’t been playing for a long time. It was really motivating,” Mohutsiwa said. The 19-year-old signed a three-year deal with Popa from Palapye All Stars at the beginning of the season, but has not featured in the 14 of the 15 games that Rollers have played.
