FRANCISTOWN: A huge blast was heard early morning on Monday around 1am in Area W and surrounding areas after thieves used ‘explosives’ to blow up an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) belonging to Standard Chartered Bank (SCB).

The SCB ATM is located at the light industrial area at a building housing Ba Isago University near Mater Spei College.

The station commander for Francistown police, Superintendent Lebalang Maniki confirmed the incident.
