FRANCISTOWN: Shocked residents of the otherwise quiet neighbourhood of Area S here are still asking themselves questions about a Form Four teen who allegedly chopped off the head of her three-year-old neighbour and was seen carrying it around like a trophy.

The girl's father initially thought she was holding the head of a doll. The grisly incident happened late Thursday between five and six o’clock.

Although details were still sketchy at press time, sources close to the case’s investigations alleged that the 17-year-old girl gruesomely hacked the deceased’s head off using an axe.
