Khoza who is a former soldier and currently working for an advertising company called Storms Road Show started his music career in 2004.

He released his first album named Bohutsana in 2005 followed by an exiting album titled Ikefinah that was released in 2007.

Ikefinah created excitement among disco fans and earned him nomination in the local music awards.

After the release of Ikefinah the multi-talented disco musician disappeared from the music scene for seven years then came out of oblivion with another exciting offering called, Dubula in 2014.

In an interview with Showbiz, Khoza said that he collaborated with the popular Mazolwana to give the album a unique taste in terms of vocals and sound.

He disclosed that their combination would widen the scope of their audience across Southern Africa.

He noted that Magamase is a 12-track album, which was released last November.

He disclosed that the people around the country and neighbouring countries such as Zimbabwe and South Africa are pleased with the album.

“The album is being played on local radio stations and has received massive response from disco music lovers across the continent,” he said.

Khoza said that like any other musician in Botswana he

faces challenges of piracy and copyright.

He expressed his gratitude to the Botswana Musicians Union (BOMU) through their assistance in resolving and eliminating the obstacles musicians face.

The first track in the album is called Lekwalo, which is a Setswana name for letter.  The melody speaks of a trending letter about their successes addressed to their rivals.

The title track Magamase speaks of an advice offered to men to stay away from a womaniser called Magamase.

The chorus sings motlogele o tla go ruta boaaka, monna Magamase, meaning leave Magamase alone he will influence you to be adulterous.

Dumelang, which is the third track, is self-explanatory. Dumelang means greetings and the song extends greeting to all Africans.

The chorus states that Africa should unite and support each other.

The fourth melody Ke Boile is crystal clear as it is Setswana phrase for ‘I am back’.

Sigiya Ngengona is a happy song, which talks about the musician’s happiness.  The melody is simply happy illustrating that the singers are always carefree.

Tando Zinto and Tumelo Mafoko produced some of the songs. Zinto recorded Magamase at Lebzamos recording studios. The album was also mixed and mastered at the same studio.
