Khaya releases third album

Thatayaone Pesane also known as Khaya this week released his third studio album entitled Keaikana, a six-track album recorded by Thabo Ledwaba in South Africa and Kitso Mauchaza.

In an interview with Showbiz, he said Keaikana is an album that reflects on his music life. “Keaikana is about a man who promises his wife that he will stand with her even beyond death,” he said.

With this album Khaya said he has decided to change the tone of his lyrics. “My music was touching in the last two albums but Keaikana is about love and happiness,” he highlighted. Khaya said changing his music for the better is partly the reason why he crossed the boarders to SA for a different touch of Afro Pop. He said being in the music for a long time has given him the much-needed experience and he would now push his music.
