BW artists, promoters engage international music experts

Botswana artists and promoters got an opportunity to engage with international music business experts at the KZN Music Imbizo in Durban, South Africa last week. The local artists and promoters who attended the KZN Music Imbizo are Punah Gabasiane-Molale, Nono Siile, DJ Anthem, German Dollar, Seabelo Modibe, Kabelo ‘Scavenja’ Tiro, Bofelo Segotso, David Letswiti, Phempheretlhe Pheto and young female rapper, Yandile Nuku. Artists from different countries were also present.

The three-day KZN Music Imbizo hosted experts from countries such as United Kingdom (UK), Norway, Denmark, Namibia and South Africa. The Imbizo tackled different topics from branding, marketing, publishing and digital distribution to mention just a few.

Speakers and facilitators shared different skills and knowledge on how to excel in the music industry in the 21st century.
