New Talana investment to yield 2,000 jobs

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Member of Parliament for Mmadinare Kefentse Mzwinila has revealed that a new private investor has come on board at Talana Farms, whose efforts will help produce about 2,000 job opportunities.

At a kgotla meeting in Tobane on Tuesday, Mzwinila said vacancies are anticipated to open up this year, adding that this was part of government’s commitment to creating employment opportunities for citizens.

He said more job creation initiatives are in the pipeline in the SPEDU region, which has been marked as a Special Economic Zone.
