Minor granted bail for rape

FRANCISTOWN: Senior Magistrate Thebeetsile Mulalu yesterday granted conditional bail to two men, one of them a minor, who stand accused of raping a 34-year-old woman.

Biki Zibiso (30) and a 17-year-old boy residing at Block 1 are alleged to have used violence, threatening the complainant with a grass slasher, during the commission of the crime.

Prosecuting officer, Goitsemang Ramatome told that court that on the day in question, the victim was walking with her boyfriend during the day, when the duo approached them. The boyfriend fled leaving his girlfriend behind at the mercy of the two accused.
