BRU urged to take a leaf out of clubs on sponsors

The Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) has been urged to take a leaf out of clubs on how to attract sponsors as the national rugby league continues to struggle in the absence of a financial backer.

Livingstone Kolobeng College (LKC) Jaguars’ Fedy Mutenheri said BRU can learn a lot from their club.

He said after making their debut in the BRU A Division league last season, Jaguars have managed to attract sponsors. He told Mmegi Sport the BRU should give affiliates a platform where they can share ideas on how to attract league sponsors.
