Horrific Accident Claims Five Lives

FRANCISTOWN: A journey to church in Zimbabwe ended in tragedy last Thursday when five people who were travelling in a minibus lost their lives before they could reach their destination.

The passengers, who were from Tsamaya village, were going to a church service in Zimbabwe when they met their untimely deaths between Tshesebe and Ramokgwebana villages.

Tshesebe police station officer, Motlhokomedi Ponyane, confirmed the incident. He told The Monitor that they have not yet established what could have caused the accident.“We are still investigating what could have caused the accident. Investigators are unable at this time to determine with certainty what could have caused the accident. We would be in a position to know that after we complete our investigations,” said Ponyane. He said the other 13 people who were in the minibus were hospitalised at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital in Francistown with serious head injuries.
