Marobela farm hosts GBV awareness event

FRANCISTOWN: Women of Marobela and surrounding villages will be educated on Gender Based Violence (GBV) at Kuminda Farm next month. The owner of the farm on the outskirts of Marobela, Lucy Hinchliffe said that they decided to conduct the education because they want to promote awareness of GBV.

She said they will commemorate 16 days of activism  under the theme ‘Campaign Against Gender Based Violence’.

The national theme is ‘From peace in the home to peace in the world, let’s end violence against women and children with disabilities’.
