Mothusi and Chawe were crowned Mr and Miss Independence

Pitse ya Naga (Zebra) couple was crowned Mr and Miss Independence Gaborone region, after outshining nine other couples for the title at Tlotlo Conference Centre and Hotel on Saturday.

All the contestants were people born in 1966 who consider themselves as Balekane ba Botswana (Peers to Botswana).

Though they are 48-years-old, the peers looked young and were full of joy and energy. At their age Balekane ba Botswana brought life to the hall, and enjoyed every second on the ramp.
