University of Botswana Rhinos walloped Eastern Military Garrison (EMG) Gunners 37-0 in a one sided match played at UB stadium on Friday evening to win the Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) A Division League. Rhinos have so far accumulated 50 points with two games remaining, while other sides are left with one game each.

BDF Cheetahs are in the second position with 45 points while Gaborone Hogs is third with 36 points. Rhinos spokesperson, Lesedi Keekae told Monitor Sport after the match that playing against Gunners was not a walk in the park.

He said that the Selebi-Phikwe side had a heavy pack which prompted Rhinos to start with experienced players who are able to retain the ball.
