Volleyball eye gold at Youth Games

The girls Africa Youth Games (AYG) volleyball team is optimistic of winning gold at the tournament, which starts next week Thursday. The team is under respected senior team coach, Manuel Torres Torres.

Former Diphatsa and Police VI men’s coaches have been roped in to assist, making a formidable technical bench.

Dynamites’ Jestinah Moyo captains the team and brings high level experience to the line-up. Team manager, Meshack Dire said they are confident of winning a medal given their squad and the preparations they have made. “We definitely fall in the medal category, it is just a matter of which colour,” he told Mmegi Sport.
