Township Rollers and second assistant coach, Joel Mogorosi have failed to reach a contract agreement which will see the former player leave the club.

Mogorosi served as head coach, Innocent Morapedi's second assistant with particular focus on training strikers. The former Zebras striker was supposed to resume duties after the festive season break but has not returned due to stalled contract talks. “Township Rollers hereby announce that the club has parted ways with Mogorosi owing to a stalemate in contract negotiations as we could not agree on the contract terms,” the club said in a statement this morning.

Rollers is reportedly facing financial challenges which has been attributed to the breakdown in negotiations with Mogorosi. A number of key players have been linked with moves away although Popa is said to be fighting tooth and nail to keep its prized possessions.
