BNOC appoints new CEO

Bayendi joins the local Olympic body on a five-year contract. She was previously at the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) where she was the executive director responsible for strategy, research, risk and compliance, and the overall intelligence and competitiveness information for the effective execution of the trade organisation's mandate.

Speaking during the event, BNOC president, Botsang Tshenyego said it took longer to appoint a CEO because Tuelo Serufho was a substantive BNOC CEO while still acting at Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC).
